Three miles from downtown
Manuel Crescencio Rejón International (MMMD) sits less than three miles southwest of Mérida's historic centre. It's a distance that changes the trip in practice: FBO to a hotel on Paseo de Montejo is a 15-minute drive, with no motorway involved.
The field has two runways — the main one 10,500 feet — and sits at 39 feet above sea level, so it imposes none of the weight restrictions that apply at high-altitude fields like Toluca or Querétaro. An aircraft leaves Mérida at full payload.
